Ice and Snow standing form is a tall slender pot designed as a statement piece. Inspiration comes from a winter walk up Ben Lomond where the bitterly cold wind had whipped snow into cornices and impacted ice made a slippery path. Tiny streams of mud and minerals seeped into cracks between the icy edges. 
The form is made by carefully joining two sections of thrown porcelain to create height. Additions of shards of porcelain are highlighted with fluid trickles of oxides, giving subtle colour.
