A beautiful shallow open form made from fine white porcelain. This unique shape is first thrown on the wheel then altered in shape and attached to a new base. To replicate textural icy patterns slivers of porcelain are added in layers. Deep inside the layers is a hint of turquoise from copper oxide, a phenomenon found deep in ice caves. 
Delicate yet durable - the thinned edges are like ice formations and delicate drifts of snow.
