Landslip standing form is a tall porcelain vessel made from two sections thrown on the wheel.
The title refers to the famous landslip on Beinn Alligin in the Scottish Torridon range. It is a dramatic dark gash in the mountain that plummets for hundreds of metres.
I have recreated the landslip with layers of overlapping porcelain. Glossy glaze and crawling glaze suggest the mountain in winter - at it's most impressive.
- wheel thrown porcelain
- satin matt glaze with glossy and crawling glaze accents
- hand washable
- height 48cm , diam 9cm
