Snow Cornice bowls capture the memory of a winter walk up Beinn Lomond with a summit capped with ice and snow. Ferocious winds had whipped up wave like forms from the snow to create cornices - making for potentially perilous walking as it's nor always easy to see where the rock ends. I create the cornices from sweeps of porcelain, decorated with a textural crawling glaze and shiny transparent glaze. 
Suitable for holding fruit, flowers or simply to be a statement piece on it's own.
