Tall slender form, hand built from fine white porcelain. 
Inspired by walks up Highland mountains and the sense of exposure and altitude felt when approaching the summit. 
Strong winds can sculpt snow and ice into narrow snow cornices - I allude to this by applying and pinching a thin shard of porcelain to the edge of the obelisk. Delicate and fragile - yet strong. 
Obelisks are displayed with an attached wooden plinth painted very dark black/brown.
